SU Chancellor: Tape prompted both fired

SYRACUSE, NY

The University fired either on Sunday after the ESPN broadcast of the tapes, recorded by Davis (2002), the conversation between him and a woman identified as fine of ESPN's wife, Laurie, in which he said he knew "everything that happens."

Cantor said that if the tape has surfaced in 2005, when the University doing his own investigation, the fine would have been fired and that the school would have fired him immediately when Davis ' allegations became public November 17 has been known about the tape.

His comments were published in response to USA Today's editorial Thursday which calls at Syracuse to release "full accounting" what is it and why both are kept in the workplace.
