Law firm McInnis-Cooper has donated $ 11,000 programs pre-kindergarten in Saint John's school in a poor section of town.
Hazen white/St. Francis School is the heart of the North end of vulnerable environment that are associated with poverty, unemployment, and housing issues.
Principal Jennifer Carhart came up with the idea of pre-kindergarten programs after visiting Harlem, in New York.
He said the children in the program being evaluated to ensure they get the most out of the experience.
"Those who assess a child on the basis of pre-kindergarten readiness skills. So we're looking at the color and shape and some of the basics of Mathematics with some of the basics with literacy and language arts. "
